Intro
My name is Jennifer Wilcox and I am a senior at ASU. After two years at GCU, I transferred to ASU to complete my BA in Anthropology. While taking courses in my major, however, I became extremely interested in history and decided to double major in European history. To this point, my historical studies have been mainly based in ancient Rome and Greece, but also include the UK from the Roman to the Tudor era, the Renaissance, and Russia from the beginnings of its empire to its revolution. Through my anthropology courses, I have also studied African diaspora and Native Americans throughout the United States Southwest, Mexico, and South America from their earliest civilizations to modern times. HST 498 is one of the two courses I must take in order to graduate this summer, and I was very glad to find that the HST 498 being offered this summer tied in so well with my European history major.
